Does Bozo need a friend??
Hey all,
I have a 10 gal reef with an ocellaris, bangai, diamond goby, cleaner shrimp and some snails... I have noticed that my clown (affectionately named Bozo by my silly girlfriend ) is trying to buddy up with both fish. As you would imagine the bangai is crabby and the goby half heartedly nips at him to get her to move along. My question is this: should i try to find bozo a friend?? and if so should it be another ocellaris? She is rather small (baby bozo). thanks for your thoughts. Jamie |

Jamie,
I wouldn't put anymore fish in a 10g tank, I would find a nice fuzzy soft coral that it can "buddy up" to instead. Providing that your lighting can support it, of course.

check eBay for lights...i bought a x2 175 watt MH/x2 96 watt T5 with 6 led moon lights for about 450.00 on eBay.
you can find some sweet deals there! |

thats a nice price for that light but unforunately that would bee WAY too much for a 10gallon tank lol it would boil the poor guys and i dont think they make chillers small enough for a 10 gallon tank lol

Oh no, a 175 would be great over a 10 gallon.

I think a single 175 with some supplemental lighting would be great over a 10 gallon, that is if your serious about keeping the 10 gallon long term.

ok...ok... You want a preaty cheap, cool, bad-ass lighing set up for that 20gal look into ESU (coralife) they have a supper sweet light out called the clamp halide its a 14,000K 150watt HQI clamp that would be great for that 20 gal they retail from 275-300 bucks depending on where you go check out this site http://www.esuweb.com/cardfile.asp?I...lationship=332
