Feather dusters

can any one tell me why my feather duster is coming out of his tube . ive tested evry thing an the water quality sames to be in check . an every thing else in the tank is lookin an doin great but this feather duster comes out about an inch past the filter an moves back an forth. i feed plenty of phyto so.

Dusters will do this from time to time, it is normal behavior. I've had one disappear for days, only to fine him back in the tube again.

thanks for the reply i have noticed in the past hours an now that the light is off he comes half way out of the tube i just worried the he will fall al the way out an die. any tips?

How are your O2 levels. I have a number of feather dusters and have only seen that happen once. When I first started I didnt have a skimmer and my pump crapped out. The O2 levels dropped off and the feather dusters started coming out of their tubes. Just a thought
