What do you guys think about this?

    Hi,
New to the site and I need your opinion on a new Tang for my tank.....

I have a 100g tank that is a reef system that now contains a yellow and purple tang (both get along well), two percula clowns, 2 powder blue chromis and a mandarin goby. I would love to add a new Tang but would like some advise. I am looking into an Achilles tang, Powder Blue Tang, or a Clown Tang. Which one do you think would be the best. Also, if not any of the above, what other tang do you recommend.

    Thanks

    Hi DrRatzlaff,

Personally, I think you reached the limit of how many Surgeonfishes could be added to aquarium of 100 gallons. Perhaps there is another fish species that you could add, just as atractive and colorful?
    Kind regards,

    Gene.

Maybe one of the many species of Dwarf Angels? Like a flame or coral beauty?

I agree with Gene, I would not add any more tangs.

    BTW

    Hi DrRatzlaff,

What about a couple of smaller fish? I always think that a Royal Gramma (Gramma loreto) is a great, colorful choice.
