toadstool leather

my brown toadstool mushroom leather has been doing great since i bought him about 2 weeks ago recently 3 days ago he started shedding i have been checking water quality...everything is great but his "tentacles" havent came back out yet should i be worried ?? i cleaned the glass yesterday his body or "head" i guess you could call it was all spread out until i cleaned the glass with my magnet then he kinda folded his head up but it opened back this morning is there anything i can do to help his tentacles come back out sooner ??

Toadstools shed sometimes... and they are moody.... just give it time. Mine have pulled it's "tentacles" in for as long as a week, expecially when he was the newcomer in the tank.

the leather's tentacles still havent came out yet and it has been a little over a week now should i be worried and if not how do i know when to be ?? thanks

Leather will show signs when ALk and/or Ph is off. JME But this is not out of the norm with these guys. Mine will pull in for a few days to a week and come back out as if nothing ever happened!

Is it still looking firm (as opposed to slimy, squishy, and decomposing)? I think Martin's advice to check the water parameters is good advice... also, what sort of light do you have it under?

yes he looks and feels firm and he came out this morning all of his tentacles were out i guess he was in one of his moods all water parameters are good thanks again !!!
