Fellows,
I just have my system on cycling and I'm in the process to select the best way to set up my Quarantine tank 16Gallons. I've read too many alternatives, however some of them where in very old books I have. I joined the salty thing about 14 years ago, but I stayed the last 6 years away because different reasons. Can you recommend what is the most update on QT? Should I set it up as like a small tank with LiveRocks and good circulation and bare glass bottom and go through a cycle? Or just the glass bottom, a circulation pump and PVC tube like the old times and change the water every other day? What are the dip/bath suggestions? Should I bath the corals too? Any new and less harmfull medication or the cooper is still the one? I'm asking it because I don't trust that much in the LFS, because sometimes it seems we know more than then. ( I live in Brazil where this business is still not mature) Thank you for any advice. Adriano ![]() |
