We took a TON of pics as we did this project, but a lot of them are no longer on our computer HD. If I can find the disk we put them on I'll post more later.

That is what we are running however your tank (in the picture) appears to have better coloration. Are the pictures close to true color?
sorry about the size....
The colors are pretty accurate, but we can't get our white ballance on our cannon powershot G3 to adjust correctly. We are in need of some new actenics. Hopefully that will help.

Well we don't run any actinics so it's hard for us to find a great colored MH bulb. I think next go around we will try some of the Phoenix bulbs or Hamilton's in the ~14k range.
There was a LFS near us that had run Hami's and the Phoenix bulbs @ 14K. Honestly we thought the Hamiltons were far inferior to the Phoenix. The hamis didnt show much of the blue and the Phoenix brought out much more color and fluorescence (sp) Just our opinion

Willis--1998-2009---I will miss you.
looks nice more pics
Wow that is really nice, that is what my wife wants some day. How do you get to the tank for cleaning and stuff?
We have a 15 inch opening for front access. The mantle is on a hinge that can be propped up. plus we built a 4' X 8' room on the back side (plus the remaining angle) for equipment.

Hmmm... now that the tank is full, I could convert the pool to saltwater...
