i have had a 3" crocea clam for about 2 weeks now and yesterday i noticed he is not responsive when you cover the light but if you touch him he will close up should i be worried also i recently got rid of a cleaner wrasse 2 days ago the wrasse used to swim over the clam alot..could the clam have gotten used to something blocking the light every now and then ??

I'm not sure that would cause it to be non-reactive. Have you been feeding it? Crocea clams, especially the smaller ones, have a higher survival rate if you feed the tank phytoplankton. DO NOT target feed them the phytoplankton - everyone I know that has tried target feeding wound up with dead clams. I add DT's live phytoplankton to the tank about twice a week, and my croceas are doing just fine.

It all sounds good... I hope it's just going through a mood... Good luck.

The clam looks fine to me. They can learn not to react if they are not being nipped at when a shadow passes over them. Mine even learned to accept a goby and a blenny perching on its mantle.
