I'd third the flatworm.. some have red "eye spots". They actually are primitive eyes...they can only detect the presence of light.

That is definitely 100% a flatworm. I had those things all over my aquarium. They would gather in groups of thousands where the brightest light is. Usually in the corners or on top of live rock. The good thing is, there is a solution. You can get this stuff called Flatworm Exit. The only thing is, when they die they release a toxic juice. Your water will turn brown and smell really bad. You can use tons of carbon to remove the toxins and then do a extreme water change. It took me 3 doses to finally rid my aquarium of these pests. The only thing I lost was my Yellow tang during the process. My corals looked like they were on the road of death, but they made it.

Flatworms.
I had a bad infestation at one time, the bottom of my 90 was covered! I removed some with a turkey baster and I believe I was using Melafex as a treatment???All gone now .They lasted about 8 months to a year. They were not very attractive and were everywhere! Marc |

If you're going to treat flatworms, don't wait until there are bazillions of them. As soon as you notice you have a problem (more than one or two) treat them early. I've treated mine, and the water didn't turn brown and stinky and I didn't lose any fish.... because I didn't wait until I had bazillions of them.
You don't have to treat them either... they are not harmful... just unsightly.
