Hitchhiker??? Help
out of the rock I just got yesterday that came from someone elses tank was an Hawaiian FeatherDuster. However, it is closed up but while doing some transfers I found a black like worm in the bottom of the tub. Is this the FeatherDuster or is it some unwanted hitchhiker? Please let me know asap!
Thanks! |

Its most likely not a feather duster but one of many rock/sand dwelling bristle or ribbon worms, which depending on the species would determine it being reef safe or not. I have a quite a few examples of the various worms most commonly found in my hitch hikers page, hope it is of help.

Hey sj, do you think you could use a little larger font? Some of us old farts have a hard time reading small print.
