    Clint,

I think you forgot to add a picture of the crab in question..so, no guesses as to if it is good or not. If you can post a picture of the crab maybe we can help.
    Kind regards,

    Gene.

Okay, I'll give you that ONE! But out of how many species, we find ONE, that is well behaved MOST of the time?

Porcelains aren't true crabs, so they dont count anyway.

True, Mike. They are closely related, systematically, to the hermit crabs ( infraorder Anomura, for those who don't know) but I just wanted to make a joke. ;)
    Kind regards,

    Gene.

My emerald crabs are fairly well-behaved... all of the "reef safe" hermits have been banned to the refugium... I guess "reef safe" means you don't have any snails in your reef tank. I'm still mad at the crab that killed my queen conch and wore her shell!

Hmmm... now that the tank is full, I could convert the pool to saltwater...

AHHHHH Well that is a interesting factoid!

Do a search on Mithrax Bubba, you may not like what you find! After a certain size, they are more likely to enjoy a nice FISH DINNER!
