live rock question

I have gotten 2 new live rocks for my tank, that have been in there about a week I would like to know about these white rings that are all over the bottom of the rocks. They look like tiny white circles that seem to be spreading all over these rocks and the ones already in my tank. Sorry I dont have a camera to post a picture. All of that being said this is my first saltwater tank and I'm still alittle nervous about how its going. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

just kidding, probablly nothing. if they are tiny white spirals, they might be snail eggs---thats what my local fish guy told me.

Can you describe those white circles a bit more? What type of physical characteristics do they have? Are they tube-like, just plain discoloration of the rock, or what?

sounds to me like a type of tube worm. they are very common on live rock and will grow mostly in the shaded areas and mabe everywhere if there is a low level of light and do not have to compete with alge or anything else. just guessing though. pics help alot.
