    DANGER!!!Centropyge bispinosus are friggin pigs!

    my coral beauty just became retarted overnight!
    what the heck! he's now nipping on the frogspawn, buttons, bubble, and chowing on my poor xenia! i gotta get him out of there but the lfs are closed! could i just put him in a five with sw and a powerhead till 4 pm tomorrow?

    Hey man, sorry to hear he turn on you.As you probably know this fish are highly unpredictable in terms of reeftank compatability.

    I suppose you could put him in a five gallon tank but it may be risky. If anything, I would find a rubbermade container, 15-20 gallon size, and just fill it half way with a powerhead and heater. I think it could probably do OK untill tomorrow. I had kept fish overnight in a container like this and a kiddy pool too.

    could i put him in the sump? not the most appealing living space but its better than a five gallon bucket right?

    by the looks of it, do you think this xenia will survive? you can see where he ate the tips off! like popcorn.

    I think your Xenia will be FINE! THat stuff can grow like a weed. Sorry to hear the CB turned on you.

    update:
    that xenia literally had maybe a dozen polyp hands left after the fish ate it.
    i couldnt catch the coral beauty but i caught one domino and after i took it out, the rest became very peaceful! the xenia is doing awesome now and is getting big and pulsing like mad! still my favorite coral so far.
