Question Coralline Algae question

I was a LFS and they had a reef tank set up, it was probably 50 gallons? Anyway, the entire back wall and rocks were covered in the brightest green coralline i have seen. the tank also had alot of pink and purple. It was lighted with t-5's and had a fair amount of live stock. Is this green color o.k.? It looked really cool but i had never seen it that green before? Anyone else seen this?

I have bright green and olive green coralline algae in my tank in addition to red, orange, and several shades of pinkish-purple. I prefer the purple stuff, but the green and red seem to predominate in my tank....

Hmmm... now that the tank is full, I could convert the pool to saltwater...

There are many different colors and growth forms of coralline algae. All is fine and nothing to worry about. That is unless you are going for the very clean, sterile look and have to scrape it off every couple of days.
