White dots on glass

Ive got little white dots forming on my tank. They started on the back glass and are now starting to form on the sides. Its not air and they look to be white with a tan center. They are about the size of a #2 pencil tip. I will try and get a picture posted this afternoon. In the meantime does anyone have an idea what this could possibly be. I looked closer and they look to be transparent when ya look real close but froma few feet or even inches off they look white and the tan spot in the center looks like a little sucker and they dont come off very easy, I tryed to rub some off with my magnet and well they didnt budge.

If I am correct with what you have, these are harmless little tube worms that sometimes spread rapidly. They are no harm though, just diversity. If these are the same, as they grow you will notice they are spiraled.
