    Coral ID reference

After much eye ball wear and tear, thought I would make a few of my coral identification pages available for anyones future use as well as just being able to show my pride and joys. I have quite a few other corals, but am still not 100 percent sure of their identifications yet.

    Acanthastrea rotundoflora

    Lithophyllon undulatum

    Favia Rotundata

Hmmm... now that the tank is full, I could convert the pool to saltwater...

Thanks, I just pinned down another ID today as well, had been calling this coral a fungia rapanda for the last year or so, but was never sure, so spent the time to look into it and found that it is acualy a Cycloseris patelliformis

Have to admit, that is probably one of most unusual of the Favias, its not much on color but its fleshiness really made it stand out. Was a bit surprised myself when I saw it feeding the first night it was in my tank. About every third night I feed it some fnely chopped mysis and it will eat ALOT.
