It's a start
I have to do another presentation...this time for my Ecology class
I chose to speak about
Montipora digitata
In this presentation I need to have the following:
A life history discussion
Range map
Pics of the organism and the color morphs that can be found
Reproduction and fecundity information
Development and habitat requirements
Feeding habits
Symbioses predator/prey mutualism and commensalism parasitism
The impact of humans on their natural environment
and some information on heredity and genetics
I am going to start researching this evening but if any of you have any information pertinent to this I would appreciate it.
I would like to ask that all of you post pics of your captive specimens/wild ones you can find and any odd color morphs you don't normally see. I'm doing this in powerpoint and if possible would like to put it in reefkeeping magazine when it's all said and done.
On a side note I have found a species of snake in my county that is found all over my state but not in my county until now. I am working to get my name in the books. Here he is Nerodia fasciata confluens.

Feel free to use any of my pics as well, a couple of new ones were posted on page 52 or 53 of the New Pics thread.
Ditto on the gallery pics, and if you want, I can always take some more.
