Hello, I could sure use some advise. I have a Coral Beauty which up to now has been perfectly healthy. Today I can see what appears to be a cut which runs directly along one of its eyes and is deep enough to allow the white of the bone to show. The cut, if that is what it is, is over a centimeter long and the eye appears to be protruding. The eye has not glazed over, the fish has control of it and appears to be able to see through it.
Can anyone recommend if I should attempt to capture the fish and treat it, and if so, what treatment would be appropriate?
I'll attach a photo tomorrow if anyone thinks it will help, the lights are out now and the fish won't come out to pose for a picture.
Thanks,
Phil
