Does anyone have a reference chart that explains how to adjust each of these components individually? Ie, adjusting Ca/PH/ALK? I don't have a calcium reactor, but want to ensure that I can adjust each of these as needed. I have used SuperBuffer dkh, but i know that there are better ways to raising the ph without raising the ALK etc.

Willis--1998-2009---I will miss you.
The two major ways to raise the pH without rasing the alkalinity are: 1. use kalkwasser (calcium hydroxide), or 2. aerate your tank well to blow off excess carbon dioxide. Otherwise, you need to add buffer of some sort.

P.S. By "alk" I'm assuming you are referring to carbonate... by chemical definition, raising the pH IS raising the alkalinity.

Hmmm... now that the tank is full, I could convert the pool to saltwater...
