I use an E.G. Danner/Supreme Mag-Drive pump to aerate and mix my water. Since it is a submersible pump, it ends up heating the water to a good temperature.

I have a 100W heater that I use to keep my topoff water warm. I use a 32 gallon rubbermaid trash can with the heater and an old Hagen powerhead for circulation.

If you have some cold ro water and you need to heat quickly, put your container in the tub or sink and fill with hot water.

I must be really lazy. I mix the water and drop in a powerhead and let it sit for a day or so. When I'm ready to use it, I take out a quart or so and heat it on the stove to near boiling .. then mix it back in with the remainder. If it feels too warm, I float one of those large cooler cubes (the ones that attach to the underside of a cooler lid) that I have in the freezer untill the water is the right temp.

I change about 6 gallons at a time in my 35 hex.

My theory exactly. 24 hours with a Mag 9.5 and that will heat anything up.
