The short quick answer, as many times as your system can handle without nutrients becoming a problem.

Part one of a seven part article about feeding a reef

i need to read that too. Anyone know where i can get golden pearls, or whatever it is that feeds smaller polyps? My candycanes look hungry, but wont eat the mysis. And i think i should feed the sps too.

BTW, where is parts 2-7??

As has been stated before, be careful when you start feeding your corals. Alot of the foods are really nutrient rich, and can cause problems in your system.
I have read where a guy never fed his corals, just cleaned his glass twice a week. Just a thought.
