know if this is true?
on a different thread, people were saying that attendence to IMAC is free since they now broke even. Although, you dont get all the perks/raffle/banquet. But you can get in the door and can see the speakers.
here is the specific thread: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/s...threadid=826803 I knwo some people are from around the area so i figured i would let people know. But if my info is wrong someone let me know too! jamie |

here is the info:
Here's the whole email:
Hi; Well, IMAC (The International Marine Aquarium Conference) is just around the corner, being held in Chicago April 28, 29 and 30 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosemont. The Banquet is sold out but you can still get tickets that cover everything else for just $99 for all 3 days or $50 for 1 day. But here’s a bonus. Since we have reached the break-even point, you can attend IMAC for FREE. That’s right, you don’t get a name tag or Program Book and you can’t buy raffle tickets but you can see the speaker presentations and the exhibits for nothing. Since IMAC is being held so close to you, you can’t pass this up. If after checking it out you can always buy a daily pass for $50, or a full 3 days for $99 and then you will be able to take in the extra activities. You can check out the speaker presentations on the website www.theimac.org . So mark those 3 days on your calendar and make sure to check it out. You won’t find a deal like this again. Cheers; Dennis Gallagher, Chairman International Marine Aquarium Conference The thread its on is: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...hreadid=826803 Goodluck, and hope you can make it! |
