Hahaha... sorry, but seriously, I've been to 3 reefing conferences now and I can't tell you how refreshing it was to meet someone with some class. I don't know if it's our culture or just the reef geek population, but it seems like no one knows how to be a gentleman anymore.

And I don't want to turn this into a vent... but I've been practically molested a couple times at these things. And if I'm not being molested I'm being ignored or hit on or asked if I'm sure I'm at the right conference or if I "even have a reef tank"... ugh. It gets a little annoying sometimes.

But I don't want to let a few bad apples ruin the bunch, I'm just saying... Jene, you stand in stark contrast to at least a large chunk of the reef hobbyist population. So maybe that's all it was.
