We have bugs!

I have a 46 gal bowfront reef (in progress) tank started on Dec 30' 05. I have been thinking that nothing would ever happen in my tank but last night after cleaning glass and equip, water change, etc. I noticed a lot of worm trails in the substrate. I got on the floor and watched the sump and there are many critters in there. Tiny green shrimp looking things, larger tan fuzzy bugs with 2tails, white worms, striped spaghetti worms(?), others that I couldn't see well.
I was so excited to have bugs! My kids think I'm crazy.

Congrats, If you want to see tons of them, Have the lights out for like an hour. Then sneek up up your tank, and use a flashlight to look at the rocks, and the sand. You'll be amazed at how many you really have. Have fun.

It really is cool to see what survives on our live rock! Moonlights are, IMHO, one of the best investments for your tank. They allow us to view what is almost a completely separate world from the daytime! Have fun!

I agree totally on the Moonlights, it is insane the amount of stuff that is in our tanks, and mine is fairly now. But it is really neat to see all the things in the tank.
