He is just to big! Even for my 300!

He's a beaut, Martin. Too bad they grow so huge...I gave my squamosa away becouse it kept rearranging my sand bed, constantly.
 How big is that bad boy?

Gene, he is about 13 or so inches long and 6 to 8 inches wide when open!
Mike, Guilty! I did do the finger over the flash to get a better color of the clam. I will get this camera thing down one day!  Martin

Wow! That's a huge clam. I have a Tiger Derasa that is doing very well but if he got anywhere near that big he'd have to move on.

Shame that you have to lose it.
Hey Martin, have you tried bouncing the flash - or is your flash on camera? I have to admit to being a big fan of available light but that white balance is a bit.t.t.t. tricky.
