Yes, many of us are familiar with this product. It has been discussed for the past few years now on reefkeeping bulletin boards all over the world.
The consensus of opinion among informed people is that it is bogus. The explanation given by the manufacturer is hilarious. It reminds of the claims made for kaballah water.
That being said, every time one of these threads is started, people will pop up claiming that they use the product and they believe it works. People believe men have never landed on the moon, too. And some people still believe the Earth is flat. They really do.
There are more than 100 threads on the topic on Reef Central. The best one is in the restricted Team Reef Central Forum but here is one from more than three years ago in Dr. Randy Holmes-Farley's Chemistry Forum that will give you an idea of what is discussed in the other threads.
Besides the 100 plus threads on Reef Central, there are threads on Reefs.org on this product that go back three years. Here's a 20-page thread from July 2003 on Reefs.org. The original lengthy thread was on a Dutch reefkeeping bulletin board and I believe it was started in late 2002 or early 2003. Some of the posts from the Dutch board are included in the TRC forum post on RC.
