Talking You Can All Stop Yelling At Me Now!!!

My website has finally been updated. Check out the slideshow of my visit to Atlantis Marine World in Long Island, New York. The 'soundtrack' was brought to you by my webguy. My apologies in advance. Thanks.

Hi Michael,
The slide show was really a treat! I would lke to see how they handle all the evaporation from the display tank there.
You have some great fish and coral shots of your tank. Thanks for sharing!

Best regards,
Kevin

Michael,
I had that crazy song from the slide show stuck in my head all day yesterday
A couple years ago Joe sent me a high resolution picture from the main tank during feeding time that I used as my desktop wallpaper. Very cool! Did Joe take you behind the scenes?

Regards,
Kevin

Sure did!

...well actually the fact that I was with Greg Schiemer, Tony Vargas, and Tony's friend Herman, a former President of the Southern Florida Reefers Association (or something like that) may have played a role in my getting 'backstage'. That's the four of them in Pic #22. Incredibly fascinating. The work that goes into maintaining that 20,000g reeftank alone makes what I do for my 500g seem as easy as keeping one of those Betta fish you win at the fair.

My daughter and I are definitely going back in the summer when all of the outside activities are up and running.

I visited Atlantis a few years ago when we were looking at colleges with my son. The big reef was fairly new at that point and, even then, was quite impressive, mostly because of the schools of tangs and shoals of anthias. The corals were pretty sparse back then, but it is astounding now. Thanks for the pictures.
