Talking Snapped! One worm...

It's really, really late here, but I had to grab a couple of this little guy! Seen the tracks every AM, but never actually seen it - till now!

What sort of worm is this then?

(For info: this is f22 at 1/60 with on-camera flash at 800ASA.)

I don't have a name for it, but I saw some in the past in other tanks and knowbody seemed to mind. I suppose crabs or shrimp or a fish will get them sooner or later!
A parasite of some sort I bet!

I thought was kinda wonderful - they way it has a transparent body. If my glass wasn't so darn dirty, you might have even been able to make out internal organs. It moves to fast to get a clearer image (as it is, I'm pushing the camera to the stops to get a sufficient deep DOF.)

Smidoid - I agree it is really cool. I was kinda laughing at Mike, he thinks crabs are ugly and awful and should be flushed but thinks a worm it "cute"!! LOL

Yup! Last I knew MOST worms we see in the hobby are perfectly safe, whereas MOST CRABS are not.

I have some friends that have paid good money to get RID OF CRABS, I wouldn't want to rub there noses in the fact I paid money to get crabs! EWWW!

It's bigger than a pea. More like the width of a broad bean, but not a pea.

Hey, now that's a thought! I have loads of things I'd like to try out in controlled tests: several of which involve political figures and are not suitable for this thread.
