    Feather Duster...flow?

Hey guys, I just bought a piece of liverock that came with a feather duster. When I checked the tank, to my suprise I had a pretty good looking feather duster poking out.

At first I was suprised but then I was wondering if it was doing all right.

My concern is its getting to much flow. Do they need lots of flow or minimum. I am confused about this bc some say you need lots to get food but others say they don't like that much flow. When its out, should it look like its still or constantly moving from the current?

Duh.... I have a number of small feather dusters that came attached to live rock. They seem to thrive no matter where they are in the tank - high flow, low flow, under a rock, etc....

Hmmm... now that the tank is full, I could convert the pool to saltwater...

Its not one of those little feather dusters. This guys big. His tube must be like 8 inches. How did I miss him when I bought the liverock?

    Will the flow hurt him?

According to my Pocket Expert™ Guide Marine Invetebrates by Dr. Ron Shimeck, Ph.D., "Generally, feather duster worms will do best in areas with moderate to high currents."

    As is mine (NOW)!

It was in "a deadish spot" which I hadn't even noticed until I check the flow and found it was preeeeety poor. I got wet fixing it (as did the carpet) but I'll dry out - and hopefully the wife won't notice the stain just yet.
