Talking I See Stars

I am soooo happy today! while looking over my new tank of liverock only a week after the cycle period was over, I found 3 yes 3 starfish very small and white but definately starfish 5 leggs and all. I also saw something that I only saw once and couldnt identify it. it looked like a slug all clear but reminded me of an elephant I know it sounds weird but I really cant describe it.
Sorry no pics. No camera!

Keep an eye on those "3" starfish. I first noticed a few tiny white little guys, and now I have anywhere from 50 -100 starfish in my tank.
I have seen both tiny white guys, and brown and purple and pink banded stars. I cant tell whether they are serpent or brittle stars though.....possibly both. Eventually, most of mine will have to come out.
Good luck with yours!

3? Dude... I have swarms of them! At night the sand is covered with them. It's madness.

Believe me, if you have the right conditions, in a few months you'll look back and laugh at this day when you were so excited over seeing 3 of them.

The clear elephant slug thingy is probably a tunicate... I have a bunch of them in my tank, too.

The thing that came to my mind when you said it looked like an elephant is a Stomatella snail. That's another possibility.

Thanks for the info!
I am just not sure what it was, I only saw it once and it was the only one I saw. Wish I had a camera, I need to go get one for things like this.
