new additions

just found out today that a LFS is going out of business and went by, they have a lot of things i would love to addd to my tank but im wondering how much is too much to add at one given time. I probably could put it all in my qt tank and gradually to the main. items include a scooter, feather dusters, stars, clams, zenia, and about a dozen corals to choose from., and they are all rather cheap, for instance scooter is only 10 bucks regular 29. id love to get them, but will pass if there are great limitations to adding too much too soon. my qt is 10 gallons also have a 20 and 55 avalable if needed. any suggestions or input. read up and everything compatible excepts stars and clams i believe.

You can pretty much count on the corals and inverts to not place a large bio-load burden on your aquarium. The greatest source of bio-load to your display will be your feeding. Just spread out the display tank feedings starting slow/low.

Once the corals/inverts are quarantined and you're ready, they can be put into the aquarium at the pace you want.

After the above are settled in, the quarantined fish(es) should go in one at a time, spaced apart by about 3-4 weeks or (if they are large fish (over 4") one every 5-6 weeks).
