Fish Id Please

My daughter brought me home a firefish and another fish. can you tell me what this is please.. he's neat looking but she couldnt remember what it is...thanks

It is a Pholidichthys leucotaenia (Convict Worm Blenny). It is a real digger and may topple live rock that is not securely placed on the bottom. Easy to feed and care for. You often don't see them for days but you know they are there from the piles of sand

neat critter-newatthis, reminds my hubby of the baby eels they whost to eat as kids in Holland. would this be okay in a 33 gal fish only tank?
Any way kevin, what is the proper way to afix live rock to the bottom of tank and other rocks?

ZIP TIES! and epoxy work well. As for the bottom, you can make PVC pillars that just barely stick out of the sand, and stack the rock on that. Make sure to drill several holes in the PVC if you do this, so critters can work there way thru...
