I think there are a couple of Fairy/Flasher Wrasses you could add to the list.

And, don't forget, if this is going to be a reef tank (this is the reef aquarium forum), then you have to take into consideration the suitability of the fish. For example, C. flavissima would be a very risky choice. C. loriculus would be less risky but still not completely safe. C. argi would be the safest bet in that group.

I think Ninong is right in everything in his post. 29g is a small tank.
Personally, I'd go with a couple gobies or firefish. They're pretty, reef safe, and they're fun to watch... and they stay really small. I think you could also have a dwarf lionfish. But just remember if you get one of them you won't be able to add any shrimp. ![]()

Oh, right... I forgot about that. LOL But actually, my dwarf lion can't catch my coral gobies. Then again though, my dwarf lion eats flake food... so he's a bit special.

I would really like to have one, but all I'd be offering it is an expensive, flashy buffet once it got all growed up.

Haha... yeah.
Mine hasn't grown since I've got it (at least as far as I can tell). And I feed it well, so I think it would be growing if it were going to grow. I just don't think they get all that big. My understanding was they stay about the size of a baseball (but someone correct me if I'm wrong).

I really wanted to get one, but had to backout once I found out it can get up to 7". Reguardless of how fast or slow it swims, I don't want to take the chance of it eating any of my fish and I'm sure they appreciate it as well.

Mine is 5-6in. I definitely understand not wanting to take the risk though. Their mouths can open pretty big. If my coral goby ever got a little slower, I'm sure he'd be lunch in no time.

i know what you mean my spotfin lion is only 2.5" maybe 3" but his mouth can open about the same size as the middle of a CD.
