So here is a description because it is light sensitive and pulls back when I illuminate it. First, it has burrowed into a piece of my live rock, it is about the thickness of a kuhli loach for those reading this that are familiar with freshwater species, and has the ability to telescope in on itself to retract into the hole it has escavated into my live rock. What could this be? Please help...

Telescoping in on itself sounds a lot like a peanut worm or sipunculan. Try googling those terms and see what you get. Keep in mind that many of the pictures will probably show the whole animal stretched out, while if that is what you have, all you will be seeing is the introvert, which can be completely retracted into the body.
If it turns out that's what you have, they are harmless detritivores.
