looks like a long tentacle seabae anemone too me.
It looks like Condylactis gigantea to me. If so, that's an Atlantic species.
Different species of anemones will usually engage in chemical warfare when placed in close proximity.

Thank you for the info.. i'm just wondering if i should move it or let it do what it wants..because as of the moment both anemones tentacles or arms are touching one another..
What size is your tank?
When you bought this anemone, what did the LFS call it?

I have a 65 gal tank and I just bought it at petco for $6, i guess they dont have any idea what it was called. i bought it still packed from the delivery man.
and at night when all lights are off except for the moonlight, they double or triple their regular size..
if you try to move it, it will move where it wants to anyway, a endless battle fi you dont like where it likes to be. you will move and the next day it will be somewhere else. why they are not good with corals, they move to much and easily at that. well that and they are stronger and more aggressive than most corals.Originally Posted by Drigo72

It's either Condylactis gigantea or C. passiflora. It's hard to tell without more views showing it from different angles and showing the column. In any case, if you paid only $6 for it, it's definitely Condylactis. I'm just not sure which species yet.
