hat type of noise do they make because right after adding him to my tank i am hoping its him but at night i keep hering loud poping sounds from the tank. and are they of any danger to other things in the tank i got him with my mated pair of watchmen gobies

no they are not and danger to other things, and yes he is the one popping

I think he makes the noise with his claws, and I don't really knw why he makes the noise, maybe to frighten away predators.

I have heard that they use the popping noise to stun their prey.
