What's good skimming?
I have a Aqua c remora pro with a mag 3 on my 125 softy reef, that pulls out either a daily full cup of green tea colored skimmate wet, or every other day a darker almost coffee colored skimmate with particulate mixed in skimming dry. Is this considered adequate for my tank? and if not what constitutes good skimming? The reason Im asking is I am thinking about upgrading to a deltec hob but am trying to justify the cost. Will there be that much difference?

I'm not sure if you'll see a big difference or not but I would think the AquaC Remora might be a little small for a 125. Skimmate is a matter of preference, but pulling a cup of skimmate per day is pretty good.
