coral question
i purchased a finger leather coral on oct. 11. i haven't seen it open up yet...the frogspawn coral i bought on the same day opened up within 15 minutes of being put in the tank...and my trumpet coral also opened up the same i day i bought it...i wasn't too worried at first because i know sometimes it takes them awhile to get used to the tank...any ideas on what could be going on?

As you already konw sometimes it can take several days for a leather to open once it has been moved or disturbed. It could also be in the process of shedding which can take a week or more. Definately no time to fret just yet.

Yep, I second Andy's response about sometimes it just takes a long time. I had this one favid that waited like 8 months before it started to put out feeders. Sometimes they just take a looong time to adjust. But believe me, you'll know when it's dead. It will start to dissolve.
