Talking Strange sightings of the "pickle-head"

And some strange behavior, too... I wondered what this Holothurian was up to when he showed up after MH bulbs went out and here we go... :eek3:

I watched for a while untill it moved away and it looks like the Zoanthid colony was not any worse for the wear, so to speak. I just wonder what exactly it was eating but couldn't figure that one out.
    Kind regards,

    Gene.

Is that particular species toxic Gene? Does it maybe get its toxin from the Zoa?

    Mike,

No, this particular species are not toxic. They look like, pardon the expression, a turd but keep sand spotless. They are moppers and I figured this "pickle" here just saw some goodies between the zoa polyps that he considers delicacy... The zoas were wide open this morning with no apparent damage to anything, I also later saw this cuke mopping up some rocks as well.

I always thought a pickle was just a cuke that was picked when it was small, heck Gene, I don't know!!! I just buy them in jars at the store.
