little umbrellas???

Something has propagated in my reef tank, there are little 1cm umbrellas w/stalks, the tops undulates for locomotion, any ideas? I have f dusters, mushroom zoos some stuff I forgot the name of, I know, I'm keeping better records now

A photo would almost be essential for a proper identification. Do you know what Xenia are? Are they like that? Do you know what Aiptasia are? Are they like that?

You might get better input by posting in the Reef Aquarium Forum, also.
