Hi!
Is there anyone in the Las Vegas area that would like to get together to chat, hangout, meet other reefers, etc. A few of us are trying to narrow down a centralized place to meet. We also want to find out what time would be best. So far any weekday at 8 or 8:30 is what we have come up with. If you are interested, post here or email me at scleractinian@excite.com. We will meet in the first week of July. ![]()

Yeah, me. I think I'm the only one who frequents this BB, even though I wear my Reefland tee shirt and and tell everyone about how great this site is. I'm a member of the LV Reef Club.

Hey,
Do any of the casino's have any good reef displays out there? I've never been in Mandalay Bay, but I heard it has aquariums and stuff.

Waterboy,
Almost all the major casinos have an aquarium, but none have any live coral reef aquarium. It's a bummer. They only have fake coral displays. You would think with the money they make they could possibly have a reef. Mandalay Bay does have a very nice display of fish and reptiles. There is one tank in there that does seem to have been dubbed "death row". All the fish seem to have fin rot and are losing their color. It's too bad because it contains a lot of pretty tangs and the last time I was there it also contained a clown trigger. Other than that one tank, it all looks really awesome. ![]()
