Which of these T5 combinations to pick?
Choice 1: 2 10000K Aquasun (UV) and 2 Super Actinics (UV)
Choice 2: 2 11000K Aquablue Plus (G-mann) and 2 Pure Actinic 03 (G-mann) Choice 3: 2 11,000K Aquablue Plus (G-mann), 1 Actinic Plus (G-mann) and 1 Pure Actinic 03 (G-mann) Choice 4: 1 6,000K Midday Sun (G-Mann), 1 11,000K Aquablue Plus (G-mann), 1 Actinic Plus (G-mann) and 1 Pure Actinic 03 (G-mann) Choice 5: Something else It would be over a 33 Gallon. I plan to keep a bit of everything (Softies, LPS and SPS) I would like to aim for the "natural look" and nothing too blue. Something that would give a really nice color and radiance to the corals. Thanks in advance |

Thanks for your help!
It seems that people would either go for choices 3 or 4 (I posted this on few various sites) They are both tied with 8 votes while choices 1 and 2 are tied with 3. Would anyone be able to post a visual reference of what choice 3 and 4 would look like? Thanks very much |

How will these be wired together? It's easy with t5's to do a ramp up if you have seperate timers on the sets of bulbs...the actincs are on first all the way to a noon phase with everything on...then a ramp down back to just actinics. This simulates the sun coming up and down....very crude but it's better than just blasting everything with light at once. I feel that you should have twice as many "sun" bulbs as actinics. Most people overdo the actinic because it looks nicer but you have to take into consideration the animals you will be keeping.

I like the 11,000K and Actinic+ (450nm) bulbs. 2 and 2 look very nice.

LOL! Still not much help!
I chose the option with the 6K bulb, though I don't have much experience with T5. I have read that bulb really bumps up the PAR available. |

I have par readings from my 75 gallon. I have 6 54w t5's on it.
2 6000k 2 11000k and 2 actinics will post those readings for you with a pic from each stage of the lighting for a visual reference later.
