Attaching Mushrooms
I have several speices of mushrooms that are coming off their rocks. How do I reattach them....I've heard of putting them on a small piece of rock and sitting the rock on the sand with a small piece of PVC around them. What works? Also how do I attach my Orange tree sponge?I had it between two rocks but the fish keep knocking it down.Should I place it in the sand or in the rocks?

I have tried the coral glue, and some have still gotten away. Scubadude told me about the PVC method, so I will be trying that myself. I think that should work.

Super glue. The basic cheap stuff that you get at your local walmart. Dry off the end as much as possible, place a large drop onto the base, stick it down in the water (the glue will crust over) smash the crusted over glue drop into the rock. Hold for 1 minute and it should be stuck.
Your skimmer (if equiped) will be running overtime at that point to clear the superglue fumes from the water. Shouldn't affect anything unless you do like 10 at one time. All my sponges, do best on rock rather than the sand.

Very nice instructions, Mark, couldn't have said it better myself! I have found that superglue doesn't last real long, though. I'll be trying the pvc method next time.
