Do hairy mushrooms benefit from spot feeding of brine or mystic shrimp?

They do, but it can be difficult to keep fish away while they close up. They'll actually eat frozen food, too, if the particles are small enough.

Note that is it not a necessity to feed; they will get enough energy from light if it is sufficient.
