Hi jkeith, I hope the tank is all you lost in katrina, sorryto hear you got caught up in that, I hope all worked out ok for ya.
My purple tang is also my favorite fish, beautiful with a little bit of attitude. P.S. good to hear from another purple tang fan. Ken |

sorry to hear about the loss jkeithh1969.
A lot of people say that I should get a purple tang, but there is just something about kole tangs that I love. I'm scared that if I get a purple that it will get really aggressive (I've heard many stories). I'd like to add one other "larger" fish to my tank to go along with the tang. Any recommendations? |

Thanks everybody. I was lucky and that was all that I lost (well other than part of my roof) unlike some of the other people in my town.
My really wasn't that aggressive. I loved it because it was the only larger saltwater fish I ever had that would come rushing up to the tank every morning to see me and didn't mind my putting my hands in the tank and put up with my constant rearranging to get things "just right". |

Funny to hear that keith mine will do same thing come right up and see me will even take pinch of flake from my fingers. Its almost like the tang is happy to see me when i come up to the tank and its not like I starve them they eat three times a day. thats what I mean the fish has attitude

Do you think a swallowtail angel would be ok in a 90gallon along with the kole or purple tang? those 2 would be the only larger fish in the tank.
