Foxface turning white

Foxface turning white

OK, so my nice bright yellow foxface is today turning white, any idea why??

Parameters? Usually lose of color is a sign of stress in fish. Also, have you done anything different lately that may be upsetting the foxface? A new coral, a new fish, a new invertebrate?

Hi, the tank in 110 gallon, the water qualty is excelent. I have just added some white clove coral and green zoos.

Also, are the lights out in your tank at the moment? If the foxeface is resting it will lose some coloration. This is an evolutionary behavior innate in most fish. It allows them to blend in better while resting to avoid being prey while at rest.

I ask this 'cause it's 12:08AM where I'm at.

Did you just get this fish within the last day or two? If so, I suspect that you just aren't familiar with it's stress coloration, which is also its nighttime coloration. See this post.
