    My lfs has some dtphytoplankton but its not in a refridgerator, do you have to fridge after you open it, or is it worthless now?

    DT's concentrated phytoplankton has to be refrigerated. It will go bad in 6 or 7 days if not refrigerated. The various cryopaste products from other manufacturers must be stored in the freezer. The other so-called phytoplankton products that do not require refrigeration are completely worthless--nothing more than the dissolved remains of dead phytoplankton.

    Obviously your LFS needs an attitude transplant, a brain transplant, or both.

I just can't beleive that Kent would put out such a worthless product....hmmmm, after reading the bottle, nothing says it's alive!

    Hmmm...

    I have no idea what good it is supposed to do. It is merely dissolved organic matter composed of the remains of once living phytoplankton. I know that it does not have the same nutritional value as live phytoplankton. Rob Toonen has written several articles on phytoplankton. He recommends keeping the cryopaste products in the freezer and DT's in the refrigerator. He does NOT recommend dead phytoplankton for anything.;;
