Question Bulb anemone

I got a small Entacmaea quadricolor anemone! Would a Amphiprion allardi clown be a good match? How often and what do i feed it? Any other info would be help full too!

in my experience krill cut up like felix said, mysis shrimp, squid cut up all do good. if your clown decides to host in the anemone it will take it larger chunks of food as well as protect and clean it.

Hi jreef,

To answer your question, A.allardi is one of the clownfishes that accept E.quadricolor in nature. To read more about this particular species of anemone follow this link.

I personally had lots of success with feeding my E.quadricolor silversides. I begun with cutting fish in half and placing it on the tentacles( no need to place it directly on the mouth), anemone will take care of the rest. Then slowly my dosage increased to 3-4 whole fish per animal.., needless to say the anemones grew and divided faster than I could possibly imagine. So you may consider this fact and feed it less, perhaps twice a week one good size silverside cut up in pieces.
