Diatom Filter for Reef Tank
Would it be recommend to use a Diatom filter on a reff tank to remove all the excessive particles???

For a reef tank, as in containing corals and a host of inverts....no, alot of those "particles" feed just about everything in such a tank. Now if those particles are something like dust from adding sand , then yes, a one time use to clear things up is fine.
