Hi, Would anyone mind taking a look at this pic and tell me is it being eaten of is he sick? If it is being eaten the only suspect I have thought of is my emerald crab. I think I will move him to my nano. Leah

It;s hard to tell if the coral saffered damage from predation or it is something that is water quality related. Personally, to eliminate a variable I would move that crab to the fuge or sump.
Was the coral always in such a state or is it something that just developed recently? Also, how long ago did you aquire this coral?

Hi, I bought "Izzy" about 10 months ago from my lsf. He was orange, somewhat plump, with none of these scabbs. The owner said he had it a few months and never seen polyps extended" It took about 3 weeks in my tank to acclimate but once it did it wasfine. I have also never seen polyps either. This has been happening for a bit over a month, Old scabs seem to heal leaving a bit of a scar. He seems happy as ever, (he doesn't look to happy in the pic.). There is no why I am going to be able to catch the emerald crab in question so I think I will have to move the leather to my nano. Any ideas whats going on?
