    Talking Two bubbles, One rock

I just bought a what I thought was one large beautiful bubble coral from the LFS about 45 minutes ago. Got it home and have the bag floating in the tank.

Being in a bag for an hour, it closed up completely, and now I can tell that it is not one but definitely two bubble corals attached to one rock. I know they are relatively aggressive corals, can I leave them both on the single rock or do I need to split the rock in 1/2?

What a nice surprise... sometimes shopping the LFS has it's benefits.

Corals of the same genus /species will not sting each other, so since it is two bubble corals you can leave them where they are.

Sweet! It looks SO good when they're both fully open. If there weren't two mouths, it would be impossible to tell there was more than one coral!

    Thanks for the info!

    ;)
